October 8: 5 hours, from 2:00pm to 7:00pm

Want fast food that tastes great and is also nutritious? Forget about Jack, Carl, Mac and those other guys trying to lure you in. This class will teach you how to make the “new fast food” at home, using seasonal vegetables and other whole food ingredients, in less time than it takes to drive to and from one of those other places.

The new pressure cookers are sleek, shiny, safe and quiet. Great for busy parents, teachers, singles, couples and everyone who eats. Our menu will include seasonal ingredients prepared to maximize flavor and texture.

Jill’s been using a pressure cooker for the past 10 years. She’s taught hundreds of people how to pressure cook successfully. As a Registered Dietitian and culinary educator with 20 years experience, her passion is teaching you the easiest ways to eat great tasting food—in almost no time at all.

Our delicious menu will include Easy Stock; Amazing Vegetable Soup; Heirloom Bean and Tomato Salad with Basil Vinaigrette; Seasonal 5-Minute No-Stir Risotto; Sweet and Sour Braised Vegetables with Spiced Quinoa and Quick Fall Fruit Compote with Figs and Walnuts

The class times shown include the meals served comprised of the recipes prepared by the class. The meal is served 3 – 4 hours after the class start time. Please plan to eat something before coming to class.

Accommodations are additional and are available at CasaLana B&B. If CasaLana is booked, accommodations are also available at other nearby B&Bs
